Mylor Harbour - History

Mylor Harbour is one of the smallest ever Royal Naval dockyards completed in 1805. The restaurant used to be the galley and the wine bar was originally the sail loft.

HMS Ganges, a three decker 84 gun ship of the line was moored here training boys for the Royal Navy. She sailed for Harwich in August 1899 and continued the same task until a shore base was built in 1905.

Saint Mylor Church is Grade 1 listed and is worthy of a visit. There has been a church in this site since 411 AD.
